Welcome to Solaqua's Energy Future Project!

This section of our website will give you a chance to see what Solaqua is doing to plan its Energy Future. We have a formidable challenge facing us here at Solaqua. We need to power our entire facility and we need to do it sustainably. But by sustainability we mean not just using renewable energy sources and energy efficiency technologies, of course, those are both indisposable components of Solaqua's Energy Future, but we also need to make our energy production and consumption processes financially sustainable. We do not believe that renewable energy solutions should be cost-prohibitive or elitist, we believe that viable solutions will be worth their weight in gold, or so to speak. Here at Solaqua, we believe that renewable enrgy should be smart energy, both for the environment, and for our wallets!

Energy options today are limited by costs. There are plenty of innovative methods by which to generate electricity or produce hydrogen, but they are not all affordable. We want to make energy affordable and obtainable. For that reason, we have created these pages to demonstrate how our plan for energy production on site at Solaqua, will operate both effectively by offsetting depletable and damaging resource use, and efficiently by doing it affordably. In fact, we intend to recover all of the costs that we incur in developing and implementing our energy plan, and then gain money on our investment, within 15 years. Can we do it? Well that is what we propose to explore in these pages. This page will act as the gateway to Solaqua's Energy Future. Join us, help us, criticize us, push us, but most of all, support us, because a project such as this is a community driven endeavor, and the support of every individual counts.

As of 5/2/06 the project has been essentially completed, intermediary pages will be removed from this section and replaced with full .pdf files of each section.
