Dear Friend, It is our pleasure to bring you Solaqua Power & Art's very first email newsletter mailing! There has been quite a lot happening at Solaqua over the past few months, Artspace, the nation's leading non-profit developer for the arts, is scheduled to be here in Chatham for a series of meetings, focus groups, and a public forum to discuss the future of the Columbia Boxboard Mill (Solaqua's home). We have attached a .pdf file of the public forum announcement and would greatly appreciate your attendance and support at this function. As community involvement is an integral part of the Solaqua dream, your ideas and thoughts would be invaluable to us. The public forum will be held at 7:00 pm at the Chatham High School Auditorium. For more info click here. For those of you not familiar with the breadth of Solaqua Power & Art, we are a multi-faceted organization focusing on renewable energy and the arts. The renewable energy component is driven by Solaqua Power, our renewable energy installation division. As energy prices continue to rise, and the end of fossil fuel based energy consumption is a topic not far from anyone's mind, Solaqua Power will continue to be your most dependable, respectful, and environmentally conscious renewable energy system installer. The other major component of Solaqua Power & Art, a fully functional artist foundry and industrial arts showcase, is the main focus of this first newsletter and the impending visit from Artspace. Our dream of creating a world class, fully energy efficient and sustainable renewable energy and art showcase is on the verge of snowballing into reality. Please come show us your support and enthusiasm. The website is being continuously updated and reconfigured, we now have some new features, such as an image gallery and a RSS news feed section. More will be coming over the next months, and we are working hard to bring you the latest information on our progress and growth. If you would like to learn more about Artspace please visit their website. Thank you for your support and friendship.
